Begin your Gallery Day experience with a grounding, creativity-boosting yoga class held in the atmospheric hybrid Catacombs of Neto Art Museum inside the Marshall Building in Milwaukee’s Historic 3rd Ward.


This all-levels practice prepares your body and mind to explore the vibrant artistic energy of Gallery Night/Day—especially the renowned Marshall Building, home to some of Milwaukee’s most iconic studios and galleries, including the Catacombs of Neto Art Museum.

Through mindful movement and breath, you’ll cultivate presence, sharpen your senses, and open yourself to deeper connection with the art you'll encounter throughout the day.

Before and after class, enjoy the chance to meet the featured artist and wander the space, getting an intimate preview of the creativity rooted within this unique underground museum.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Jenny Urbanek is a lifelong yoga practitioner, artist, and art educator based in Milwaukee. She has been teaching yoga since 2017, blending her deep personal practice with her passion for creativity and self-expression. Jenny approaches yoga as a living art, guiding participants to explore movement, breath, and mindfulness as tools for connection, presence, and personal growth.

Her work integrates art, embodiment, and ritual, creating spaces that honor creativity, imagination, and individual expression. Jenny teaches with gentleness, humor, and compassion, respecting the diverse experiences and abilities of those she works with. Inspired by the ancient wisdom of yoga and informed by modern understanding of the body, she invites participants to move, create, and awaken their own inner artistry.
